As part of Lions International, the world’s largest volunteer service organisation with more than 1.3 million members in over 47,000 clubs worldwide, the Meon Valley Lions Club is proud to be serving the local community through hands-on support and impactful fundraising.
From sizzling BBQs and festive Christmas collections to summer fetes and community events, the club raised over £30,000 between July 2023 and June 2024.
These funds have helped support individuals and families in the Meon Valley, contributed to the Lions International Disaster Fund, and allowed for vital updates to the club’s community minibus.
So far this year, the team has already raised more than £20,000 and distributed over £12,000, all without deducting a penny for admin costs. Every donation goes 100% to charitable causes.
But it’s not all fundraising! Being a Meon Valley Lion means joining a friendly and welcoming group who enjoy a bit of fun too. From a paddle steamer cruise around the Isle of Wight to microbrewery tours and relaxed pub nights, the club makes sure there’s something for everyone.
