Prince Edward has visited Ahmad Tea in Chandler’s Ford to present the King’s Award for Enterprise on behalf of HRH King Charles.
Starting in a small shop in London Road, Southampton in 1986, Ahmad Tea is now one of the top producers of tea worldwide.
This prestigious Award recognises the impact Ahmad Tea has delivered to improve lives in the UK and around the world. The company gives around 20 per cent of its profits to charity, including Southampton General Hospital, Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, and Alzheimer’s Society.
