Thanks to Eastleigh BID’s environmental volunteer Karlie Smith who facilitated a day of tidying up in Eastleigh. Held at the end of March as part of the nationwide campaign, the BIG Spring Clean, volunteers came forward to help out on the day from 10 local organisations, with litter picks photographed and videoed by students from Barton Peveril College.
The Spring Clean was followed by a presentation at The Junction Church, a speech delivered by the Mayor and a trophy (funded by Eastleigh Town Council) for the most litter picked.
If you are interested in being involved in volunteering with other community projects lined up for 2025, Perfectly Imperfect, BID, Wells Place and Eastleigh Town Council Greening Campaign would like to hear from you. In the first instanced email Perfectly Imperfect, a community development enterprise with a people-centred approach.
