A new bookshop in Lymington has made it into the slow travel guide for book lovers: Bookshop Tours of Britain by Louise Boland (published by Fairlight Books). The Imaginarium in Angel Courtyard is described as a super little bookshop which has general stock, but specialises in science fiction and fantasy. It also holds regular book clubs focused on the genre.
It is listed as part of Hardy’s Wessex Tour. Other bookshops mentioned include October Books in Portswood, run as a co-op and owned by the local community, plus there’s fairtrade produce and a community space.
