Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel-Horwood has been preparing for his debut solo tour of ‘All Balls and Glitter’ which starts next February. The Strictly legend said it was FABULOUS to be in the venue and told Discover: “After months of lockdown, I am so happy to be here, it’s great to be back at work and what better place than The Point, Eastleigh darling! It’s a gorgeous little theatre and it’s wonderful to be back with a director, a pianist and live music. I am absolutely delighted and have to thank The Point for allowing me to be here. It’s so cool just to have a proscenium arch and some seating, albeit empty.”
Craig added: “It’s wonderful for any theatres to be used and to be using rehearsal spaces like this at The Point and immaculate theatres like this is, it’s just really brilliant.”
Craig was due to appear down the road at The Mayflower as The Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella which has now been moved to Christmas 2021.
Craig said: “Just the smell of the greasepaint, darling, is around the corner and I cannot wait to get it on.” He added: “The tour is full of song, dance, and stories, it’s certainly more than a talk!”
