“I discovered Yoga when trying to solve my bad back problem around fifteen years ago and since then it has been a part of my life.

I qualified as an Integral Yoga instructor in 2018 which follows the teachings of Swarmi Satchidananda. The class I lead is based on Hatha Yoga, combining movement, deep relaxation, breathing techniques and meditation.

Yoga is not just good for the physical body but also the mental benefits which are endless, and which have helped me through my own personal challenges. Especially at this time of year, the permission to allow yourself a couple of hours to slow down, reflect, nourish and grow is hugely beneficial.

When I started Yoga, the class I attended was for men, so I thought I’d love to give back that experience to the men of Romsey! I want to take out the intimidation and competition that men often feel and be able to focus on the self in a like-minded environment. Everyman is welcome, regardless of experience, mobility or age.”
