Winchester creative Rebecca Godden has launched an inspiring new podcast ‘Part of the Arts’, celebrating the lesser known roles in the arts. New episodes every Monday will reveal the fascinating stories of the people who keep the creative industries thriving, among them set designers and stage managers.

Rebecca said: “I hope this podcast helps those within the industry feel a stronger sense of connection and inspires those outside the arts to discover the amazing people and work happening behind the scenes.”

Upcoming episodes will include a local actor-puppeteer and creature performer whose credits include Warhorse and Doctor Who; and a Winchester-based international director, writer, dramaturg, and producer for outdoor, indoor, and site-responsive performance.

Rebecca’s own diverse experience includes devising, producing, directing, and performing nationwide, from West End productions to education projects. She works part-time as Associate Director for a local theatre company while collaborating with organisations across Hampshire and beyond.
